Miss Emily Faith!

She was so eager to see the world she arrived 8 days early!

She's so tiny but so precious. We are all in love.

Sophie and Emily are doing well and recovering. I can't wait to see them again soon!

Banana Pancakes

Yep, I've been singing that good old Jack Johnson song all day.

And that's because I made banana pancakes for the first time this morning.

It was successful and they were pretty yummy and healthy at the same time- win win situation!

It's a very simple recipe- 2 eggs and 1 mashed up banana all whisked together and then cooked like regular pancakes on a medium heat. My only issue was that they were slightly harder to flip than regular pancakes. I topped them with a small amount of Nutella for added yumminess :)

Showering Baby J

It's a very exciting time for our family at the moment. It all started last July. For some of us, it started in a restaurant at an anniversary meal. For the rest of us it started at Manchester airport as we waited to board our flight to Florida. Regardless of the location, my cousin Sophie and her husband Charlie shared the same news. After years of patiently trying and waiting, Sophie was pregnant and the little one would arrive in March!

Fast forward to today, Sophie is nearly full term and we are all so excited for Little Miss to arrive. We held a baby shower for her a few weeks ago and it's safe to say that this little girl is going to be surrounded by so many loving people who are willing to spoil her. Roll on March!
The little one has so many clothes and toys!

All the guests bought their own baby picture and we guessed who was who!
The fabulous cake!
